Meteorological and Air Quality Auditing

T&B Systems’ personnel have over 60 years of combined experience auditing air quality and meteorological monitoring systems.  Our specialties include development and implementation of quality assurance program and project plans, implementation of audit programs for air quality and meteorological measurements, training in quality assurance, and unique capabilities in instrumentation for QA of upper air measurement systems.  The T&B Systems staff has been conducting upper-air audits continuously over the last couple of decades. Our resume includes nearly 200 audits of radar, Sodar and RASS systems and associated surface meteorological measurements.

Our extensive knowledge of proper installation procedures and operations monitoring systems provide a unique capability as external auditors of air quality networks.  We have participated as authors of several key meteorology-related documents, including Volume IV (Meteorology) of EPA’s Quality Assurance Handbook, and EPA’s “Meteorological Monitoring Guidance for Regulatory Modeling Applications.”
